Robin Fledgling

Here is one of the four chicks that I have been blogging about over recent days. This is the only chick I can associate with the nest in my shed because the nest is empty now. The fledgling is pictured in the roof space near to nest. I was able to quickly capture this shot earlier today. There is a waste water discharge hose from a washing machine, which by chance gives some scale. I have seen the parental behavior unchanged, with frequent visits as before, when the nest was occupied. I understand the fledglings continue to be fed for a while longer. This may explain the behavior.
